Environmental Sustainability Pledge

Many of the items we acquire and sell would have gone to the landfill. We have found that inconvenience often leads to disposal and overfilling of our landfills. Not because the item is junk, but just because they didn’t have the time or means to sell it. We at SymbiQuest facilitate the bridge with time and means. One example, is used freezers — we usually get these for free from people who are upgrading to a new one. The old freezer usually has years of life left, and we are able to sell them to someone who just needs a functioning unit. This saves the money the landfill would have charged to dispose it, and saves the environmental impact of disposal. Another example is metal filing cabinets — often times offices are closing down and they have to clear out in a matter of days. The business has perfectly good file cabinets that are being hauled off to the landfill, not because they have anything wrong with them, but that is the only option they think they have. Filing cabinets can cost from $300-1500. Most of the ones we acquire are close to new, and we can resell them at a fraction of the cost of new one. We have thousands of items like this.
