Our names are Danise and Ed Mueller.
We have been in business as resellers in Rohnert Park, California since 2017, and we have been in this business industry since the inception of online selling sites.
We truly love the business we are in. Yes, sometimes it can be hard work, but it’s “fun work”. I usually prefer not to quote a rather widely-used phrase, because it can sound corny or cookie-cutter, but it fits: ‘If you love your job, then you never have to work a day in your life’. This is so true with this business. We often joke with each other saying it’s like shopping, yet without the guilt. The “shopping” bug can be satisfied, but not with the usual associated costs. Granted, if we fall in love with something we buy, we can keep it, but most other purchases are for resale. And if we do fall in love with something, deciding to keep it at the time, and then get buyer’s remorse, we simply resell it—always for more than our purchase price.
I founded the business years ago, and found and married my amazing wife later in life. We match in every way, including our love for this business. Danise soon quit her full-time job, and we have been working together happily ever since. Subsequently, the business has grown and evolved in amazing ways. Danise was truly born for this type of business, and had no idea of this until she saw it operate and became completely involved.
We live in Sonoma County on our “mini-farm”, with three dogs, two bunnies, four chickens, a horse, and a pond full of fish—big turtle and all.
We believe in living a quiet, peaceful, and steady life. We remain clear of drama and conflict whenever possible, and conduct our business accordingly. We search, research, purchase, list, and sell our items, always following these principles: Buy something that will sell for sure. Be fair and honest with the seller (even tell them we are reselling it, and, if they ask, for how much we intend to sell it for (trust me, they will either not care or be happy for us, and either way, will still sell it to us. It’s better telling them this up front than them maybe finding it online later, and feeling deceived, even though no deception occurred)), and inspect it fully. List it accurately. And sell it honestly. Don’t exaggerate or talk it up too much. Don’t rush. Don’t panic. No “fire sales”. Everything will sell.
This results in a stable, fun, and low-stress business.
We pride ourselves on honesty, candor, and transparency. This business industry is one where these principles fit right in. There’s no dog-eat-dog competition, and working with your “competition” symbiotically is the norm, not competing with one another.
Granted, this business is not for everybody, but it can be for a wide variety of people. It can either be a full- or part-time business. It’s one of those businesses you can try out and see if it’s for you, with very minimal investment.
Twenty years ago, my wife and I would have never imagined being in this business. We were in entirely different fields, but now we could not imagine being anywhere else.
We would love to hear from you, so send us an email or message with any questions you have.
