We offer several options in regards to estate and business liquidations, from purchasing individual items, to a complete buyout and clean out. We offer anything from complete “one-stop shopping” in many regards, where we can handle virtually ever aspect of the property’s contents liquidation (free written estimate, buying or consigning the items, disposing or donating the items not worth selling, removing everything the owner desired removed from the premises, and leaving the premises swept clean), to clearing the property out after an estate sale (still purchasing or consigning the remaining items of value), or simply clearing out a property with primarily debris and items of no value. High-Value Item Consignment
We also specialize in consignment of high-value items. We offer pickup service with our various vehicles, trucks and trailers/flatbeds, and storage in our secure warehouses and fenced lot in Rohnert Park. We handle all aspects of the sale, including any registration and paperwork. We advertise the items on various platforms, and select the most suitable site(s) for the specific item which will sell it in a timely manner for market price. The consignment process will net you a higher price than if you were to sell it outright to us, since we are not having to include our cost of working capital in the equation, due to us not buying it on the spot. With consignment, we pay you for the item when we sell it and get paid. The only downside is you don’t get paid when we pick the item up, as you would have with an outright up-front purchase. However, you’d be compensated for this by ultimately receiving more from the consignment option. Please note not all items will qualify for consignment (usually because of a low-value threshold). Our consignment commission will vary from 5% – 50% of the item’s gross sales price, depending on the many factors, but primarily the item’s value (the lower the value, the higher our percentage charge). Assessments & Appraisals
We can estimate the wholesale and retail value of a wide-variety of items, and provide a detailed written report–with pictures–usually within one to three days. We are not licensed or certified appraisers, however we have years of real and practical “field” experience in assessing value based on comparable items which have recently sold. The values provided by us in these appraisals and assessments are what the items would truly sell for, and what it would cost to replace, without “fluff”, or speculation. During our assessment and appraisal process, we utilize our past experience of buying and selling the same or similar items, as well as an in-depth research process we employ every day when conducting our own business of buying and selling. Our names are Danise and Ed Mueller. We live in Sonoma County on our “mini-farm”, with dogs, bunnies, chickens, and a pond full of fish—big turtle and all. We pride ourselves on honesty, candor, and transparency. This business industry is one where these principles fit right in. There’s no dog-eat-dog competition, and working with your “competition” symbiotically is the norm.
